Airports.
I just bore witness to the most ridiculous consequence of capitalism and classism just now. I was at the departure gate for the local airport and realised that any chairs or seats in the terminal were reserved for special members of the airline.
You have to be of a higher class and to have more money than most to simply have the right to sit down.
Excuse me, the PRIVILEGE to sit down.

I can’t believe I had the immense privilege to listen to Cornel West speak at my university! He was an amazing and powerful speaker, the way his voice fluctuates and his hand movements are catchy and addictive. Fashion block.
I have been on such a terrible fashion block lately. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Magazines to look at, affordable stores to check out, new trends that you can’t get enough of? I just can’t seem to work with my closet anymore. I think I’m going to do a huge overhaul and get rid of a lot of it soon.
