So I’ve made the decision to take a year off next year to study for my LSAT’s and travel, and I realized that I would really enjoy traveling from each major Occupy city and getting involved in each protest there, seeing what individual needs each city has, and if there is a demographic shift between each one.
It really interests me, but I need the money and the place to stay. Not to mention a woman traveling alone is still extremely dangerous in this day and age (another cause worth fighting for), which just makes things more difficult.
I’ve heard of people “couch-surfing” and traveling through Occupy protests before, and really want to know more about how it works. I think this is one of the few things that has prospect in this country, and I want to help out as much as I can.
