Today I went to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk! I haven’t been there since I was a very small child, and I absolutely fell in love with it.

I completely lucked out because my boyfriend and I happened to be standing in line to buy tickets for the rides, and a girl approached us telling us that she gets six free unlimited ride wristbands for working there, and she wanted to give us the two extra she had. I ended up pulling my boyfriend to the Looff Carousel, a historical carousel that turned 100 last year.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve absolutely loved carousel, and recently I made it a goal to photograph as many of them as I can. The final photo is the picture of the horse I rode. There is something timeless about an old carousel, and this one is so unique.

I went to a lovely little vintage store in my town and picked up a peignoir and a really interesting neckpiece that was made by one of the owners. Using a vintage glove, lace, fabric, flowers, and broach, she put together this really stylish and kind of Cult Party-looking piece together!

It’s probably my new favourite piece! I love the kind of creepy look the glove gives it too, it’s like I’m wearing a hand around my neck, haha! I can’t wait to work it into an outfit!

One of my close friend’s prized possessions was left in my care during this past school year, and I took it upon myself to take some nice photos of it! I have a video of it too, I may or may not upload that later.

A while back. I love how instant cameras can make everything look like the 80’s again. Somehow even the carpet reminds me of my childhood.

I went on one of those clichéd London Bus Tours today. They were really fun, and all I could think of was Peter Pan when we passed the Big Ben (technically it’s the St. Stephen’s Tower or something like that… Big Ben is just the bell). It actually chimed as we went by one time.

I’m really enjoying my time here in London. It’s just beautiful here, and the weather is a welcome change from where I usually live.
