Of course, if I go to a mall, I have to make a couple purchases too! I basically only really explored two stores (since I was not going to add more clothes to my already bulging wardrobe), and that was Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle (a store I had never heard about until my boyfriend mentioned it), and Sanrio (which is a rare thing for me to see when I’m at home).

I went Jewel Pets/Gachapin crazy this time around. I fell in love with the Alpaca police in Jewel Pets, and had to purchase just about everything that featured that adorable little face! I’ve also always had a soft spot for Gachapin since I first discovered him when I was in high school, so I of course added some more to my collection.

Both stores were absolutely adorable, and I need to make sure I never go to Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle again. I wanted to buy everything. I ended up purchasing this handy little hair thingie that lets you make perfectly messy hair buns, a penguin sausage cutter, bento picks, and I finally talked myself into using black lash glue. I always figured since most lash glue dries clear, what’s the point? But after wearing false eyelashes avidly this past year, I realised it tends to clump and it’s impossible to really remove without accidentally taking off your eyelashes… Since I wear black eyeliner already, I can just camouflage the clump this way!

Anyways, if you have bulging pockets and love practical things, definitely go to Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle.

I went to a lovely little vintage store in my town and picked up a peignoir and a really interesting neckpiece that was made by one of the owners. Using a vintage glove, lace, fabric, flowers, and broach, she put together this really stylish and kind of Cult Party-looking piece together!

It’s probably my new favourite piece! I love the kind of creepy look the glove gives it too, it’s like I’m wearing a hand around my neck, haha! I can’t wait to work it into an outfit!

I went to Jo-ann’s today and bought a tonne of holiday fabric on clearance~ It still ended up being super expensive to do all that though. D= I already finished making a skirt out of the space fabric!

Starlight Deco Dream Review! ♥

I bought two adorable items from the lovely Kyandi of Starlight Deco Dream. She is so meticulous with the things she makes, and I knew I just had to have some of her items, especially after I found out her car broke down. ;__;

She packaged everything SOO cutely, I loved it! I was an idiot though and couldn’t figure out how to open up the bag the tail came in, and by the time I realized the clasp on the top can open, I had ripped the whole bag. D=

I love getting freebies! I got some adorable little clips and some stickers~ I save all of the notes and cards I get with my packages so if anyone asks where I got my things from, I can just whip them out!

My first item was an adorable mint-green tail keychain! I already have one that I got in an issue of Nicola magazine, but now I have another~ I can’t wait to latch it onto my favorite pink bag!

The most impressive part is the keychain. I have never seen a latch like this before, and it looks SUPER secure. Almost all of my keychains break after a month, so hopefully this one holds out better! I will update after I take this out for sometime and tell you all about how sturdy it is. =) Because it’s so large and doesn’t necessarily need to be put on like a keyring, it’s better for putting onto purse straps or belt loops!

I also bought an adorable polka-dot bow! I bought this one a whim because it had such a cute shape and was adjustable, but I’m not sure what it can match now… Oh well, I’ll find something to wear it with, I’m sure!

All in all, I loved buying from Kyandi. She worked everything out with me when my package was somehow returned to sender, and sent it right back with no trouble! Hopefully this doesn’t happen the next time I buy from her, which will hopefully be veeery soon. ;D

I love late-night trips to Walgreens! I found this one lonely container of chapstick on sale and fell for the packaging (again, I know), and I think I may have a new favorite chapstick! It’s totally organic, comes in such an adorable container, and smells strongly of mint. =3 I have something to replace my well-loved bottles of Carmex now!

I also got two new shades of nail polish, I am in love with these bright colors that Revlon has been putting out, and a tube of Rimmel moisturizing lip gloss. I’m not a huge fan of the color, now that I tried it on, but I fell for its packaging too. D= I NEED TO STOP DOING THAT.

I have been really digging bold patterns lately, and these are probably the brightest I have from my latest shopping excursion! I just love the navy stripes on the jacket, they look amazing and remind me of Fujimoto from Ponyo!

I haven’t visited a Delia*s in a while, and I am so glad I picked up this dress, the square neckline is gorgeous, and bold pink polka-dots are to die for!

The Hello Kitty top makes for a great cover-up when I visit the beach this summer! I can’t wait to wear all these things~

I bought a shit ton of clothes these past few weeks after donating a bunch of my old clothes. I spent the majority of my life being lazy about what I wear, so I’m basically forcing myself to look good all the time by making sure I have no lazy T-shirts and jeans to wear, and more cute tops!

I did stock up on some new jeans though.

I usually don’t wear lipstick, but I’ve really been meaning to change that! I wanted to try out a really orange-y color (CB 96) inspired by Miss A’s “Breathe” video, and a purpley-pink (Girl About Town) à la Nicki Minaj! I also wanted a good mascara (False Lashes) for more casual days, since most clump and end up looking super dramatic, and this is what the shopgirl recommended to me~ They look absolutely DELICIOUS on.

I haven’t bought anything from M.A.C. in ages, I’m really glad I decided to take the plunge last week. It was expensive, but well worth it for the coverage! This is definitely the lip color to go to if you’re darker toned!

Hehe, my cousin came yesterday and gave me a delicious care package for my birthday! It even included this great Japanese shampoo that she’d swear her pretty head on, and yummy-licious snacks! (You can already see that I opened a couple of bags and have started eating, haha!)

My personal favorite is the snack with the French fries on the bag. They’re actually potato snacks with a hint of tomato to taste like French fries with ketchup on it! Deliciouuus~ ♥

Can’t wait to try out the shampoo, I had just finished up my current shampoo in the nick of time! =O
