Travel Blog (un)Update.

So I went to Stanford today and completely forgot to bring my camera. I had so many places I wanted to shoot too! I’ll probably be heading back there again, so I’ll probably just have to take those photos upon my return.

I did, however, manage to take some photos on my iPhone, so I’ll upload them eventually.

California travel blog!

I haven’t been to my hometown for longer than a week since I moved nearly ten years ago, and I am so happy to be there for nearly a month this summer! For this reason, I am making sure to go to all the spots I loved as a child, from Golfland to Chuck E. Cheese’s, trying out some fun restaurants, enjoying the stores, and of course, PURIKURA!!!

I’ll be leaving Wednesday, so after that it’s my goal to have daily updates of what I did/wore etc. So pumped!!

I’ve been hunting around for things for my new home, and I’m super excited about going vintage shopping tomorrow with my mother! There is an entire antique mall nearby, so we’re going to go through for an old vanity that I can repaint for my bedroom. I’m so sick and tired of doing my make-up in the bathroom… Plus a lot of my make-up looks too pretty to just put aside in the bathroom.

I also just want to go crazy putting up bookshelves all over the place. I collected so many books over the course of a few months this year, and a lot of them are so beautiful, I really want to display them in style~

So basically, super modern living room, shabby chic bedroom. So excited!! 

New home, dark floors.

I haven’t been able to live in a single place for longer than a few months at a time, because of college, and now I hopefully have the chance to stay in the same place for nearly four years (if things work out). Now I’m so excited to roll up my sleeves and start going decorating crazy and make this place look like a home again.

Graduation.

For those of you who don’t know, I graduated.

I can’t believe it! I have a Bachelors in Arts in Sociology with a Psychology minor. A lot of people think it’s a useless major, but honestly, I have learned so many things and have so much knowledge I feel like a lawyer or a doctor need to be imparted with before going and dealing with their clients and patients. Especially those for other walks of life. I’m glad I chose this major, no matter what people say.

After this, I’m taking a year off, studying my ass off for the LSATs, and then going to law school! I’m not sure where I’m aiming for yet, but I don’t mind returning to my Alma Mater. I’d like to go back to the west coast though and settle down near San Francisco, like I’ve always dreamed, but things have been a bit more complicated now.

In other news, I’m reviving a domain name my father bought for me almost ten years ago, I can’t believe it! Soon this blog will redirect there.

Congrats to all the other students that will be graduating Spring 2012 or have already graduated! Celebrate, you have done well and achieved a privilege not many have.

This was a really beautiful moment. I never thought I would like Rin’s route so much, it was really deep and meaningful. You also see this other side to Hisao that you just didn’t see with Emi’s route, although I think her personality was a lot more agreeable.
